You and Rambi are correct in your assessment, however, take it a bit further...I an not familiar with ANY religions.
I am curious about how some of the most successful ones were able to thrive...it all seems very oppressive to me. [and I'm still in shock over Deuterotomy20].

This I disagree with.
As long as males need to fight with each other as a way of life...they are "the Enemy". How many Women and children around the Globe, transculturally, throughout recorded history, have suffered along with "men" for the sake of "men's" Pissing Wars?
Furthermore, human maleness is hazardous to the life force within Every Female...look at some crime statistics, prosports and news. men are destructive, Even little boys are genetically predisposed to violence and aggression...it served a purpose in our evolution and "rise to the top of the food chain"...however,
Now, the "traditional male identity" is anachronistic and must Evolve.
[but I know better than that!], lest we ALL perish in a frenzied domination/destruction fest!
On a brighter note, The "Fraternal Order" is showing signs of weakness and self-consciousness.
They know that it's becoming glaringly obvious that they no longer dominate Women. Why do _so many "men" HATE WJC ?

WJC is seen as a "traitor" to the "male society"..."he brought a girl into the Fort"!
Women voters have raised the bar...and most "men" are Uncomfortable.
