My company, Daou Systems is also expecting a loss this qtr, and my subdivision, the healthcare applications wing has about 25% of the consultants "on the bench" Health systems and vendors have a lot of projects approved and budgeted, they're just not being started until Y2K is behind and unplanned corrections are made. At our annual meeting, our management expects thing to change dramatically in the Feb/Mar timeframe, which is why they are not laying off, as other consulting companies with shorter term horizons have done.
