Further inquiry reveals that the Swiss bank can buy US stocks but that it is more difficult because of taxes. They need to go through a layer of bureaucracy to insure that the taxes are paid to the US govt. when she lives in the US. Do you have any references or resources for setting up a corporation in Caymans without living there and going through a bigger hassle? Also, I'm still interested if anyone knows how to find a CHF-$ rate chart. I guess the CHF is a fairly safe hold.
