Volt: In the past week we have been witness to some interesting pre-market activity, two occasions come to mind. In both instances, the day prior, Q had rallied strong and pre-market trading the following morning indicated a continuation of the upward push, only to find the stock price down within an hour of the opening bell. Since I have not been one of the victims of this scenario, it doesn't hurt too bad. But on both days I thought to myself how bummed the people were who bought in the pre-market expecting a huge move. Appologies for the long winded introduction, but I wanted to add some basis to the following questions: 1) Do you feel that the above in another example of MM manipulation and profiting? 2) With so many people figuring out that the MMs are manipulating stock prices, on both the up and down sides, for their benefit, don't you feel the MMs will eventually be repremanded and forced to be more subtle? 3) If they become the focus of attention, and are forced to be more subtle, my concern is that they would find a new way to manipulate prices and skim even more money in less obvious ways then they do now.
