poet.....thanks "buy what you know....know what you buy"

timing is everything.....the only way you acquire the knowledge of "timing" and lower risk entry is by becoming intimate with the underlying stock. as long as fundamentals don't change, all other movement is technical. take advantage of true over sold or bought situations, and jump on any "non-event" that can cause a momentary expansion or inflation of premium via a manic/depressive implied volatility. sometimes the moment alone can create an opportunity which will reward you with instant gain when the implied volatility normalizes. books, software, formula can't teach you this.....it is only gained from your familiarity of the underlying whose options tempt you...

good luck..ed
