Rich -

I don't have all the data to know exactly how fast Intel has grown vs Cisco. Cisco, admittedly, has grown extremely well. But let me point out one major difference.

Over the years, Cisco has grown through ACQUISITION - they have bought and continue to buy comapnies and technologies to fuel their growth. Stratacom is the most recent example.

Intel has, with only minor technoloy acquistions, grown nearly entirely by developing, manufacturing and marketing new products. Their approach to growth is quite different, philosophically, than Cisco's.

I am not making a judgement statement about which approach is the better. Both companies are doing well. I just hope you own CISCO so that your personal financial growth is more to your liking.

Paul
