Don good points. In some cases, stocks are trading based on their "possible" earnings potential in the 4th millenium! I also think that employee stock options and the learning and decision-making people have to do to participate in their 401k plans and other employee-funded retirement savings plans have gotten many more people interested in stocks than ever before. Without these two trends, I don't think nearly as many people would be interested in the markets. Victor
