Well this thread is still dead, but the NESS thread on RB is a bit more active...

NESS will become NESSE after Christmas.
Don't worry, they will be listed again right away, the company says that it's all some kind of mistake: ragingbull.com

They say they are up-to-date with their filings, but if freeedgar.com is any indication, their last Q was filed for quarter ending 30-Sep-99. According to the news releases, they approved reverse mergers with a couple of private companies owned by Hayseed [called NESS and Hesed] On 18-Nov-99 (see siliconinvestor.com ). My guess is that they owe a material change report for these mergers.

Also, something else I fund curious. We have heard that this well is supposed to be > 25,000 feet, and their Nov 11 PR says that they have a well that will reach 27,000 feet: "Ness Energy Purchases Giant IDECO H3000 Drilling Rig for 27,000 Foot Israel Project" [see siliconinvestor.com ]. But, according to ABC's transcript, Hayseed said: "We were planning to go 10,500 feet." As we know, from earlier discussions on this thread, there sure is a heck of a big difference between 25k feet and 10k feet - in terms of feasibility, cost, time, etc...

Check out the transcript, it's quite interesting. They did a segment on Hayseed there:

HEYSEED STEVENS It means my life. God spoke to my heart that I am to come and pour into this land and take nothing and give everything I have.

GILLIAN FINDLAY (VO) Heyseed Stevens has come all the way from Texas on a mission from God. He?s got a lot of faith, he says. And for what he?s going to do, he needs it.

ANNOUNCER This is ABCNEWS Nightline. Brought to you by...

HEYSEED STEVENS It?s a spectacular view.

GILLIAN FINDLAY (VO) Hayseed Stevens, Texas oil man. He says he?s been called by God to help usher in the Messiah. He can feel the time is coming.

HEYSEED STEVENS I?m feeling all these billions gallons of oil in my spirit. Just bubbling, bubbling.
(VO) It?s rolling, and it?s just getting ready to go.

HEYSEED STEVENS Wow!

GILLIAN FINDLAY (VO) For nearly 20 years, Stevens has been after what he thinks is the largest reservoir of oil on the planet. Located, God told him, in the southwest corner of the Dead Sea.

HEYSEED STEVENS We were planning to go 10,500 feet.

GILLIAN FINDLAY (VO) When he finds it, there is no ?if? in Hayseed?s vocabulary. He plans to give his share of this treasure to the state of Israel, and to help build the Jews? third temple.

HEYSEED STEVENS Do you see the head and the shoulders there?

GILLIAN FINDLAY (VO) At the site of his first drilling attempt, he showed us one of the many signs, he says, God has shown him. This one on a nearby rock.

HEYSEED STEVENS And right at the top you see that little crack. It looks like a crown of thorns on his head, and then you can see the hair. See the face. And there he is hanging on the cross 2,000 years ago, and we are getting ready in just a few days to celebrate his birth.

GILLIAN FINDLAY (VO) The two-thousandth birthday of Christ has inspired many Christians to come to this city to walk where Jesus walked, to live where he lived, to see where he died. ... At the Kfar Shaul Psychiatric Center, they have a special staff for those suffering an overdose of religious belief, and a special name for it, the Jerusalem syndrome.
