February 2000 Mutual Funds Magazine My Favorite stock.... a full page interview with Chris Ely fund manager for Loomis Sayles Agressive Growth and Small Cap Growth fund. He discovered emc as a tech analyst back in 1991 (maybe same time TraderEd did). What interested him in emc? "Management had a strategic vision about the importance of storage, and the company was committed to excellent customer service. And customer service is really important, because as any dot-com company can tell you, it's dangerous if your data storage goes down and you can't access information."
