Brian, what makes you think that the Greeks were so perfect as to get it right themselves? My bible has nothing to do with the Arminians. It is a new translation of the Living Bible using new translation techniques from original texts. For instance the commandment "Though shall not kill.", is more correctly; "You will not murder." Before you have a tizzy, this makes sense. God gave Moses the commandments and a little later gave him a list of people to kill, there fore, no conflict between the commandment and the elimination order. I am interested in the message, not the particular words used. Your concentration on the use of particular words is one on your many, many defects as a voice for God. And, regardless of your exalted opinion of yourself, you have many, many defects as a self-appointed teacher and preacher. haqi |
