Oh absolutely, I loved my apricot tree when I was a kid. I spent a great part of my time climbing trees. When I spoke of a time when "music had no notes, only a voice, and minutes turned no hours and days no years..."I meant my childhood. As a child I enjoyed and experienced the whole without conception of the pieces that fall into place with age. And I remember that time seemed quite different to me as a child then it does now. That was what I was trying to express but maybe I didn't get that across.
