>> Now my objective is to find a way to get some more money in my taxable accounts rather than IRA's so that i can have independence money.

I met with my accountant last week to discuss that very matter. There are several methods for withdrawing IRA money early (before 59 1/2) without penalty, which would be 13% for me (10% federal, 3% state). He's picked a method that will allow me to withdraw up to 8% of this year's closing ira value per year for the next 5 years. Once I pick a number, however, it's locked in stone: no more, no less, or I incur penalties on everything I've withdrawn.

Check with your accountant; there are ways to do it.
