Hi Carolyn,

According to some on the main thread, we can make a lot of money, but we can't talk about how much, or especially how we are going to spend it.

Money is still a taboo subject, especially expressing feelings about it.

I am reading Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged." There is some I don't agree with, but I am wholeheartedly in favor of capitalism. If you create capital, you should invest and spend it to keep the machine running.

On August 4, 1999 in my "save for a new house account," I bought 100 shares at $75. I suppose I should wait to sell until August 4, 2000 and pay less tax. What will I sell those shares at? How much of a down payment will I be afforded?

No its not a B'mer, Benz, or Lexus, but it will help drive the economy. Just trying to do my part.

Jon
