calypso: As they say--who knows-- but yes a popper of 10%--$8--too many people with no fix for 4 1/2 days--and all those others wanting in! We shall see. By the way Canadian markets were indeed closed Monday and Tuesday-- some wierd custom of your northern neighbours that involves eating pemican and guming furs for softness in the aftermath glow of Xmas :o) Why they can't coordinate the markets of North America in the aftermath of NAFTA---I'll never know Tax loss selling over today-- the year end padding of the books by fund managers now underway--all should help the cause. Prediction-- an even $99.95 going into the new year-- CIC still on sale! Canadian markets open on Friday-- believe for 1/2 day. The other half of friday is for shovelling snow, buying candles and bringing in the wood for a fire. Tom D.
