Dear Thread; what did i miss. the news of the day was that China might grant a manufacturing license to a small little Chinese company to manufacture CDMA telephones (you know, those things that are almost given away for free). XING goes up 500% but the real money to be made is in licensing the CDMA technology. Isn't it? We're talking China here. 1B pairs of ears! All being offered GSM only right now. Why then, was this story not picked up by analysts as very bullish news for China? Or, can we assume China is going to steal the technology and not pay royalties?

Someone explain, please.
