Just in case no one has noticed as I haven't seen it mentioned here... The new lows improved over the last week from over 500 new lows to 400 to 300 to 200 but the trend reversed yesterday back to 300 and today was back to 400. While the indexes are making new highs, the new lows is actually getting much worse very quickly. I guess this is another one of those trends we shouldn't pay attention to in the "new era' but the rate of change is disturbing. I am getting sell signals on the TYX tonight but I am not sure what it means. Normally it would be bullish for stocks but the new lows and the 6-10 TRIN chart posted here says that isn't likely. Flight to quality despite 114 Billion in repos flooding the market and surely more the last couple days?????

I will be watching GE since it has been oozing a bit lately SUNW which is tightening up for a major move one way or the other and especially AMZN and AOL which shoudl bounce or die soon. All the stocks on my waych list made their moves already or else are too flat to trade so I think what ever is going to happen needs to happen soon.

Once Y2K is over, if it is a non event, will the Fed take back the liquidity and the market dips or will the market have a relief rally since the world did not end so we have a chance to get poots even cheaper? Opinions????

Good Luck,

Lee
