IMO Lizzie,

The first two are ridiculous. And all the Star Wars stuff. Maybe one at the bottom somewhere for special effects.. Can't believe the the Blade Runner, Die Hard and Terminator stuff even mentioned ..

And they skipped Muriel's Wedding, Babbette's Feast and Antonio's Line??. I don't know..

So Number one could be "The Graduate", It brought Hollywood out of the dark ages.. Kick Butch Cassidy way up the list.

"Close Encounters", is the best Sci Fi type. I also didn't notice Catch 22..

For 1950's and older, I loved African Queen and Treasure of Sierra Madre.. I guess I like Bogart..

The Piano is excellent as is the Big Chill.. Also "Out of Africa" could have been there.. As I want to come back in my
next life as Beryl Markam's lover.. or a Masai warrior. I love that period..

Good subject...
