XING --
A company does not become a "hot tech" company just because the company "hopes to make CDMA cellphones" or "sends an application to begin manufactureing CDMA cell phones".
There are many better telecom companies in China that are much bigger and have higher connections than with "Goverment of Guanddong province" (btw, there are 31 provinces in China).
For example, Great Wall Telecom, a CDMA operator in Beijing is much better positioned to work with Motorola, Lucent to develop CDMA standards in china. Great Wall already got approved to make CDMA cell phones by CENTRAL china goverment using CDMA trial networks in china (btw, there are only 4 small CDMA trial networks in china).
XING is just a small potato that has no future in China but lucky enough to hire a great PR firm that knows how to play NAZ market by using some buzz words such as CDMA/wirless/etc...
Even if XING ever makes into CDMA market, it will be one of the smallest players far behind companies such as Great Wall Telecom, China Mobile Telecom, FangZheng Telecom, Motorola, Lucent, and ERICY..

ps: XING will only go higher on short squeeze, however, when people realize that XING has nothing but tons of hype, it will die down faster than you can get out. |
