SonoSight has received a 510(k) premarket clearance from the FDA for their Echocardiography system: biz.yahoo.com ''We introduced the SonoHeart system as a 'works in progress' at the recent American Heart Association meeting in Atlanta, and the reaction from the cardiology community was extremely positive,'' said Kevin M. Goodwin, president and CEO of SonoSite. ''There has already been a lot of interest in the SonoHeart system, and now with premarket clearance, we expect to start taking orders and shipping systems in the first quarter of next year.''
