Hi CK,

I had a blow out with my father today over medicine.

We never argue, but I found myself scolding him like a child. He's 74, and we were both surprised the way I talked to him.

I have been talking with him about buying medicine in advance for over 6 months.

Yes, he needs some to live, and for quality of life. His pharmacist said there is no problem with supply. And he can pick up his bi-monthly supply at the scheduled times.

I know they are friends. The pharmacist meant what he said. But.

I told my father that's all good and well as long as he is open! And what if we have any problem with looting? Do you suppose some people might ransack a drug store?

You see I have taken it upon myself to have food and supplies for my family. And many people in my family who respected me in the past wonder why I worry about Y-2K.

Probably think I am a little goofy.

Alright, I have accepted that. But damn, I been asking him to fill those prescriptions.

I pray we have only periodic disruptions.

I wonder, have I done the best I can?

I hope I have done what's needed.
