NW. Thanks for the advice. The machine has only frozen twice, which is a little bit disconcerting, but hadn't been enough to send me to CPQ support yet. I do have 128 MB of Ram, so I'm surprised it froze at all. But you're right. The time to fix it is now, and I'll see what support can do for me. The biggest problem, and I'm not sure it has anything to do with the machine or modem, is the repetitive 40 second stalls that occur, every 3 to 4 minutes while I'm on the internet. Other people I've spoken to seem to think it could be the phone lines between my home and the ISP's servers. They refer to it as a dirty line. I'll be calling the phone company also to see if they can check that out. Thanks again.
