Could anybody help me on the idea of exercising an option? I feel silly writing this as cnbc is touting the $1000 call on QCOM, but here goes. I have 1 Jan 140 on Q, bought at 37. It closed yesterday with the bid at 361. Is there any reason not to find the 14K to exercise? A possible reason I thought of was to take the cash and roll that money into 02 LEAPS.
Thanks to anybody who'd like to address this.
