The odds are not in a short's favor. Consider that less than 1/2 of 1 percent of all recommendations are "sell"..

You've got a hell of a lot better chance that someone will come out and pimp for a stock, than someone will come out and slam a stock.. And even if someone does slam a stock, 5 analysts will come to the rescue THAT DAY and upgrade it.

So basically, don't bother shorting. The market is rigged.
