BTRN and to a lesser degree NBIX are acting as if we are in a short window. A secondary offering can be a great thing for a small company. It gets the message out to institutional investors and can create a great platform. The biotechs that have gone public recently have done very well. The reason to sell in a private sale with a large discount is because you are concerned that the public window will close. The small biotechs want to go when the window is open and do not want the risk of waiting. I think it is a mistake. Companies like BTRN need to get their story out to a larger audience. I hope the buyers are prohibited from shorting the stock. V1
