Elmer, Are we then to believe Intel releases it's errata because they are so onerous they must do so? And AMD gets no complaints and so posts no errata? Is the Intel process such that it generates numerous errata as a byproduct of normal operation...<GGG>
Elmer, if there were any serious errata on the Athlon surely they would have surfaced by now in the press? I am sure Intel and it's card carrying running dogs of imperialistic lackeys(you and Paul plus others) have been looking high and low for any flaws, even to the point where you might consider creative actions?
Now with modern systems we can check enormous numbers of calculations in an attempt to find any bug at an early stage to fix it and thus bugs are going to be obscure and hard to find. But there have been zero Athlon bugs found and publicised to date? There has been at least one major Intel bug not on their errata list until new systems would not start reliably. Hell that one filled Intel's pants, ran down their legs and left footprints. I am sure it is an erratum now and has been fixed.
