I was answering the "How are things simple..." part of your question. The "date rape drug" makes things very simple...[back to your original post about grassskirts...] RE: columbine, I don't think we can blame prescription drugs. I don't believe that we can blame anyone other than those who made the deliberate chioce and pre-meditated slaughter. In fact, I would argue that Dylan & Eric were too sensitive to handle the Required De-sensitization of Pop culture/"high school"- The Y chromosome would have caused them to be "Jocks". They disliked "jocks". I think that they may have been too sensitive and intelligent to drug into submission. The 7 second thing seems unrealistic...more to send a message, perhaps.
