***The Elephants are Charging*** You mean that $619 figure I saw on my screen when I woke up wasn't just blurry eyes? $1000 price target?!!

Bloody Hell, this is great. Finally, just before Y2K, Qualcomm finally gets to the right sort of place, with China coming on and CDMA the world's method of communication. I suppose in retrospect, 10 years isn't that long for such a stupendously important thing to happen.

The WWeb is going to change the world more than the bomb ever did, or much else for that matter. And it will do it quickly because it costs so little to do.

Our brains will just float free of earthly bounds. Maybe not quite in a spiritual sense, but in a very real material and even abstract sense at IT [TM] starts to become a reality. Already, the Web is a big adjunct to my brain in the memory and information department. Soon it will do some thinking for me too. It already does in a way - keeping an eye out for stuff. Then it will start to get me to do some things to keep IT happy.

And there is Mighty Q! right at the core of IT, creating IT.

It and Me, very happy,

This is a very, very lot of fun. Summer is here in force. I'm going to Piha tomorrow to celebrate in the beautiful orthogonal wave functions of the universe. Yes, it's that great. Life is up and down. This is definitely an up.

Click on the Piha spot on the map. Unfortunately, it seems to be in black and white. Rats! Also, it's not current. Okay, life isn't perfect yet, but IT [TM] is on the case.
