Ed,

I agree that the East Cameron net revenue interest of Optima is rather small (Approx 5.5%), however that field is now producing 4000 bbl/day with 1.85MMCF/day. Even at the low net revenue percentage this still represents about 225boe/day to Optima's interest or almost 20,000 boe per quarter. This would be 15% of Optima's estimated 130,000 boe for the first quarter! I recognize that the added East Cameron production (1700 bbl/day up to the current 4000 bbl/day) has not been in place for the entire 1st quarter, however East Cameron production would still be almost 13% of all Optima's production assuming the company meets its 2nd quarter estimate of 155,000 boe.
I still wonder where the bulk of the production decline is for the first quarter. Anyone heard from Optima regarding this issue?
