Nice move, to sell the E*Trade July 30 Puts and receive $8.625. This means that if next July, E*Trade is selling at over $30 you just pocket the $8.625/share that you got for the puts. If E*Trade is selling below $30, you'll wind up buying the shares at the $30 but you still have the $8.625 in your pocket so your effective price will only be $21.375.

I've tried this on a couple of stocks that I thought were underpriced and set for a runup. The problem was that I was correct in the runup, but the runup was so large that I regretted not actually buying the stock itself <G>. Still, many people are not aware of how conservative some of these options plays really are. So when will we here in the US have Softbank options to trade <G>?
