Santiago, Dan had absolutely nothing to do with it. The spur which triggered my response to Brian was provided by Brian, himself. He made uninformed statements about the bible I was quoting, and then tried to tear down the validity of the documented facts I presented to him. For quite some time now, I have witnessed Brian running rough shod over many good, decent, and devout Christians because they do not recognize him as being qualified to preach/teach Christianity to them. Being a self-confessed Puritan, he has radical views of what a Christian should be. For reasons such as this, the Puritan sect is of negligible influence in the Christian Faith. He considers himself to be far above everyone else, and fails to realize that he is a mere mortal, and a flawed one at that. A study of the Puritan sect and it's Calvanistic beginnings, will show a tyrannical bent toward the clergy holding the laity in the virtual bondage of the pronouncements of those who have usurped the power of the clergy. I can not sit idly by, and let anyone, including Brian, ravage the Christian Faith through egocentric desires, and self appointed leadership.
