"I'm going to check out Schwab Canada, TD Waterhouse, and HSBC InvestDirect. Moving an RSP portfolio is a pain, I've moved from CT Securities to Scotia Discount in the past. CT was worse than Scotia, but things change over time. My priorities in order of importance are:

1) Service: ie. performance, execution, reliability, etc."

I don't want to be a spoilsport, but TD Waterhouse doesn't advertise their 16 minute wait to decide whether or not you should make the trade....... Some days it is faster most days it seems slower..... Fills come sometime thereafter, which might be fine if you are in for the long term but can be seriously inconvenient if the stock happens to be moving the day you want to make a trade.......
