If chat lines move stocks contrary to where their fundamental value should move them, then that would say more about the intelligence of the readers than about anything else, eh. I too am interested in the question of the town, it is my only interest in man, i am flat the stock and have always been, no agenda whatsoever, though generally i would like to see it succeed as we need all the happy stories in resources that we can get, for the benefit of all.
I think if charred was short he would simply say so. He is an informed and fair-minded poster, imho. Which is not to say i agree with all his opinions, but i do agree with him when he says that moving the town is not a fait accompli at this time, and should not be presented as such. When i see that foto on man's website i think of several fotos i could take in another latino village, there are so many choices, to pick one i'd have to choose how i wanted to present it, as palace or as garbage dump. It would not be easy or cheap to move that village, and its population is a fraction of 15,000. The question of whether man can negotiate with the town as a whole or needs to negotiate individually will be crucial, the latter would be more difficult imho. It is imho unwise to underestimate latinos in bargaining.
None of which is to say that i have an opinion on whether they can move the town within the economic parameters. I don't. Just interested in the question, that's all, as is charred, imho ..... Best of luck to man and to the people of Tambo Grande, may they all find an agreement mutually beneficial .... cheers .... marcos |
