Elmer, RE SMP. If the chip will not do it yet then MSP boards are premature at this time. I never though you could just plug in a Athlon, change the bios and run SMP with a number of AThlon CPUs. Maybe the licence would not allow it...Alpha protection mechanism. Maybe the chip needs more work to perform that function. From what I hear they have that kind of CPU under development as we speak and first sample will be out first quarter into beta testers? Look up Elmer, fall into an open manhole. Bill
