I'd take Walter Piecyk's jab at Globalstar with a grain of salt, just like I took his negative comments on Qualcomm in the past with a larger grain of salt. Why he didn't like the Q at $25 and now loves it at $500 (or is it $600 or is it $700?) is beyond me. I have been an investor in Globalstar for almost five years and an investor in Qualcomm for almost six years. All seems to be coming together well for Globalstar and in my opinion the upside potential in GSTRF vastly outweighs the upside in my beloved QCOM! As I told a client today as I trimmed his $12 cost Qualcomm, the rise in Qualcomm's stock price today - that's TODAY! - pays all the capital gains tax. I think that is a compelling reason not to be greedy. My big bet in 2000 lies with Globalstar.
