I chatted with Chuck Forrest about the PDG deal. Asked about timeline: no deadline but PDG is running out of economical grades at Misima where they have a 5M tonne plant. The initial presumption is that Woodlark has 1.5 tonne (200k oz) of 5 gram ore. But PDG would not be interested in Woodlark unless they believed it contained closer to a million ounces. So an aggressive drill program from PDG is likely for 2000.

With an 1.125% effective royalty BFM could pick up $635K from 200k oz (300 POG)over a couple years with upside potential five times that over several years. Woodlark may have home run potential that BFM alone could have never exploited, and the deal seems to enhance that possibility. Mining would follow discoveries quickly. The company is also in JV discussion in Zimbabwe with a "local group". There are discussions going on concerning Witwaterrand as well.

With a modest $1.4 million market cap (@ 7cents)BFM now would appear to be a pretty decent speculation on positive news coming out of the PDG exploration at Woodlark and new deals on the African properties.
