A little story...about cellphones health cdma etc
After dinner tonight I stopped at the health food store. A spanish girl greeted me with vodka and cigarettes. I said, In a health food store no less, she said, It's my birthday so I'm drinking tonight. Feliz cumpleanos, how old are you, I asked? 30 she said. You don't look older than 20 I said. Thank you! she said and proceeded to give me a VIP card with a permanent 30% discount.
Now here's the kicker--"We don't only sell vitamins, I sell cellphones." There in the vitamin case were qualcomms, nokias, etc, the whole shebang. Thinking I'd put her off I said, "When they get email, let me know."
"Mine has email!" She whipped it out. "Look I got this message already tonight." She read it out loud twice:
"Lonely tonight. Need your love" etc etc. "See, isn't that cute what he wrote?"
"And," she said, "it's an intercom." She pushed a button and spoke into it in Spanish. Somebody answered from an office in back, and it came through her phone. "Let me try it," I said, "Hola--que tal?"
"You speak Spanish!"
Etc etc. Now is wireless taking over the world or what? |
