I'm sure some problems will come to the fore. In fact, I would not rule out a mild recession based on the fact that many countries, including Venezuela, (a major opec member which just got hit with major flooding and landslide problems) will have y2k problems. The heavy part of the US gdp that is exports/imports could suffer, shrinking the US gdp just a bit.

And many US jobs depend on exports/imports.
