Even two years is probably too long - did anybody envision Qualcomm coming along two years ago? And the dirty little secret is that even if you do accept the analyst's 2010 free cash flow number, you find that his own projections are worth about $150 a share today if you assign a realistic terminal growth rate at the end (the analyst assumed a terminal growth rate of 18% in year ten). Yes, I do read this stuff. And it makes me laugh. This is probably not the place to discuss it further - after all, this is a company that traded at $25 about nine months ago. To all who bought it then, I take my hat off to you (my boss did, and still holds every share). Those buying now are playing a very very dangerous game. Repost this on the Qualcomm thread if you want to. I'd be honored by every flame.
