Gem was held down most of the day by 2 mm's (light volume) who obviously had some of the huge Form T trades after the market closed. There were only 4 10k trades during market hours, and they took place at 3:58pm.

The goal: Hold the price down so that the 150-330k blocks could be bought cheap. Maybe they had to absorb 100k of 72-73's - no big deal when you have a 300k buy coming in at the close... Saved over a million bucks on just one of those 300k buys.

BTW: Don't believe anyone was on the 'selling' side of this trade. When this happens the marketmakers have to sell out of their personal holdings. (Not sure how they are forced to cover the imbalance; maybe someone with more market savy can address this issue.)

Anyways; I expect more of the same kind of games while the big boys take a position. Once they're aboard, we are gonna run.

Maybe we see a run like the big Q...

My 2 cents

BIll
