PD...you sound like the guy who said "I'M SHORTING THE H OUT OF CMRC" on the first day of the big runnup...needless to say, this guy got about 100 gunshots to the head and ran for cover quicker than you can say "big owie"!...while I would agree that some folks have not sold based on cap gains situation and will look to sell immediately after that pd, there are also a boatload of people who (unwittingly) believe that in just a few hrs time this stock will now be sooo much cheaper based on the 4:1 split!...also, how people can say they believe in the net and believe in tech and not own the Intel of the mobile phone industry is beyond my comprehension...Q's CDMA wireless standard will become the global standard for wireless technology, generating enormous growth, an unfettered royalty stream and a 50% pretax profit margin for years to come!...further, people don't want want to miss being part of history in the making and with Paine Webber's view that today only 18% of phones use CDMA tech and growing to 85% in the next decade, this thing will only continue to soar...further, one of the few longs that A@P really believes in as well, with a target of $1,500!!...just be careful! EDIT: trading at $740 in Berlin as I type!!
