Good points, Paul. I agree. The sense of your arguments persuades me that the TSE investor has his head stuck firmly in the sand, compared to the NASDAQ investor. Put another way, the TSE investor drives by squinting into the rear-view mirror of dividends and quarterly earnings reports, while his American counterpart looks ahead, and down the road. Like you, I've made estimates, without knowing exactly what the terms of these deals are, and with very safe assumptions - for example, a 2.5% annual adoption rate on Symmetry.
