<<Yah..growth may be slowing..if it doesn't we are gonna run out of people on the planet soon..! can not sustain the same growth level at 20 million vs 1 million>>
Martin,
I tend to disagree. You are assuming that all things remain the same. Wireless is going to be a huge market...it is the future. It is also a relatively untapped market, which will explode in a hurry.
Broadband/dsl is just now getting out as well. It too, is a huge market. AOL with their large customer base, brand name appeal and etc, etc, will be right smack in the middle, and will have as good a chance of snagging customers, or better chance, then anybody else.
Lots more to come....we haven't even scratched the surface. Imagine a few years from now when everybody is wireless and voice integration is now a part of the game plan. Forget a keyboard.....driving down the road you will be able to access the internet and do whatever you waant, simply with voice commands. With this in mind, content becomes a huge factor. AOL is king of content, and I see AOL as a huge leader in the wireless world.
JMHOOC
happy and healthy 2000 to everybody
