As you have stated numerous times, fundamentals mean nothing anymore but for history sake, I figure I will post these little tidbits so we can look back later and giggle as the economy collapses and people are starving across the nation...

NASDAQ futures are up 60, GTW and DELL are holding up well despite... Niles who has called the PC market perfectly for over a year, downgrades INTC and DELL stating PC sales are weak and profits on sales are dropping due to higher component costs; Last week MU reports earnings and states that PC DRAM sales were soft due to lack of PC demand from businesses and Government orders; Last night, CompUSA warns and states sales are down over 20%. Why anyone would get caught holding a PC Stock right now is beyond me.

Also, even for companies that appear to be doing alright, all stocks that are up this year inthe NASDAQ have had price per share growth that is 4-1000 times their revenue and/or earnings growth. Apparently the new math goes something like, if your earnings are growing at 10 percent, your share price shoudl go up 150%, if your earnings are up 30%, then your share price should go up 300% to 1500%. UFB!!!

I will be trying to buy my 45% earnings growth stock with a PE of 37 butit will probably go down since value stocks ( at least compared to the mo mo stocks) have to be sold to chase the QCOMs of the world.

Good Luck,

Lee
