All the high end systems have rdram
I am disturbed that the following events haven't happened
1.) Samsung hasn't developed RDRAM at the 256 Mbit density. They have PC133 in production levels and have engineering samples of DDR chips.

2.) All of Taiwan has backed off 100% on 820 and 840 chipsets using RDRAM. Supermicro, Soyo, Gigabyte, Tekram, Acer, Shuttle to name a few companies that had 820 chipset based offerings previously but do not have them on their product offerings now. Intel has delayed for 5 months their RDRAM enabled products and still has 1 -3 months additional wait before we see their offerings.

3.) Dell high end offerings you refer to comprise less than 1-2% of total computer marketplace.

4.) Short interest at approx 100% of float that is marginable is some indication that opinions about 68-70 being a bottom for RMBS differ.

5.) Kingston moved all Rambus cheerleader ads off the home page of web site. They relegate any mention of RDRAM to a white paper which describes RDRAM as one of several DRAM technologies for 2000 competing with PC133 and DDR. Gone are the glowing endorsements of RDRAM capturing 40-50% of the market in 2000.

I would be eager to jump back on the RMBS bandwagon if any one or more of these situations changed.
