I was wondering when you'd check in. At least you're always polite in your disagreement. Only two comments: First, how many 100 meg zip drives do you think IOM will sell once they announce a (backward compatible) 200 meg version which we can probably assume will be priced under $200. Second, as you have noted before, the money is in the cartridges, not the drives, and Syquest can't afford to lose the high-end market, even if their margins (if there are any) on the Syjet get squeezed.
So far, the market continues to sell IOM and buy SYQT (up again today)... I think I understand why IOM is going down, I just don't know why SYQT is going up at this particular moment. Any ideas?
