Then again.... On the Epitronics "Corporate Overview" webpage they say: ... a source of semiconductor substrates. We manufacture silicon carbide single crystal substrates which are used to develop new devices for power electronics and blue light emitting diodes and lasers. so who knows? As an aside they make thin films for Candescent. Certainly a company to watch! JF
