Beckett Technologies Corp BTKShares issued 237059951997-04-18 close $0.27Monday Apr 21 1997News ReleaseMr Lou Reali reports The company has entered into a contract with a major food retailer for the commercial deployment of its Micro-Rite technology. The contract calls for the delivery of this product within the next thirty days. The order is for Micro-Rite packaging technology that allows frozen pie products to be converted to a microwaveable product. The new microwaveable version will cook frozen foods in less than eight minutes, yet provide quality. This order follows an excellent consumer trial response. National distribution of the product is scheduled for the second quarter of 1997. Both the customer and the company see this product launch as a major milestone because it represents the first of several products that are being developed for introduction by this customer in the coming months. The company will inform its shareholders and the marketplace with more details next month as products are introduced to the consumer.
