Voltaire or others, Could someone explain why MMs that are short must cover today? I know we split but how does that impact their short - would they not just be short 4 times the shares (but at a cheaper price of course)? Wouldn't they just hold on until 2000 in hopes that some significant selling has been postponed due to tax consequences. tia, Claude (rhymes with TOAD)
