Boy, did I jump in too early at 50ish. Wish I could commit more now. QCOM is being punished along with the rest of the technology sector. The bears feel they are in control, thanks to Andrea Mitchell's husband. Anybody who buys now will be very happy in a few months or even weeks. I've noticed PrimeCo has been offering 500 minutes per month at $50-$55 in the past month or so compared to their earlier offering of ~$40 for 100 minutes (40 cents/minute vs. 10-11 cents per minute). Their 100 minute plan was about 15% less than cellular. What will this do to the market? Given simple microeconomics, if their sales numbers haven't exploded, I'd be very surprised. They only sell the QCP-1900 at the moment, so any sales increase should be flowing to QCOM's top line, at ~$400 per phone.
