I thought the trick for growing decent GaN was not to use hydrogen. I guess they must use some kind of post-deposition processing step to get rid of the defects. I also wonder if they've got to polish off the "mother" substrate like Nichia does.

I might be interested if novecon.com ever goes public <g>.

I guess this means I'll have to wade through the SEC forms on ATMI <g>.
